Long before the Tribes gathered in peace... there were the Tribal Wars.
The elders speak little of those days. Some say the strongest tribes sought glory. Others say they sought dominion.
Whatever the truth, the battles were many, and the cost was greater still. Only one name remained after the final drums had fallen. "Ṣāmit".
It is said that he was once the Chieftain of the greatest tribe ever assembled.
A leader whose victories became legend. A warrior whose defeats became wisdom. Many claim his body bears the scars of a hundred battles. None have ever stood close enough to know. When the Tribal Wars ended, Ṣāmit laid down neither spear nor shield.
Instead... he disappeared.
Some believe he wandered into the mountains. Others claim he sought silence in the deepest forests.
The oldest stories say he entered meditation, choosing observation over conquest. He speaks rarely. He judges carefully.
He remembers everything. When the drums sound once more... Ṣāmit summons only those he believes worthy.
The chosen gather before him. They are known as the Qādah. The Tribal Council Trials begin. And when the Trials end...
Ṣāmit returns to silence.
Until the drums call again...

INTERPRETATIONS OF ṢĀMIT'S DECREES
"The words of Ṣāmit are clear to him. For the benefit of the T2ers, we must try our best to comprehend their meanings..."
(Ṣāmit's appointed Herald, Qā'id Mo)
Interpretation
Every participant is expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
Respect your opponents, your teammates, the umpires, the equipment and the venue.
Winning is celebrated. Honour is expected.
The Decree of the Chronicles - Ṣāmit says, "Truth leaves footprints."
Interpretation
All 5 hosted matches must end with an official match photograph shared on the T2 Tribal Council WhatsApp group.
The photograph must include:
- the completed scoreboard displaying the final score;
- the appointed umpire standing behind the scoreboard;
- both opposing pairs of players standing beside the scoreboard;
- everyone facing the camera.
The defending tribe (home team) is responsible for submitting the photograph on the Tribal Council together with the official Defender's Scroll (Photo of the completed scorecard).
The Decree of the Defender's Scroll - Ṣāmit says, "The Tribe that defends the land shall also preserve its story."
Interpretation
The defending tribe (home team) is responsible for completing and submitting the official Defender's Scroll (The completed scorecard) after every fixture.
This includes:
- recording the result of every battle;
- confirming the overall score;
- attaching the official battle photographs;
- submitting it to the Tribal Council.
The Decree of the Battlefield - Ṣāmit says, "Where blood is willingly spilled, the ground itself is sacred."
Interpretation
The defending tribe (home team) is responsible for preparing the battlefield before the scheduled start. This includes ensuring:
- the playing area is clean;
- the table is correctly positioned and leveled;
- the net is correctly installed and at the correct height;
- surrounds (if available) are positioned correctly;
- all equipment is safe and ready for play.
The Decree of the Arrows - Ṣāmit says, "A dull arrow dishonours both hunter and hunted."
Interpretation
The defending tribe shall provide suitable match balls for all five battles. The balls should be clean, undamaged and appropriate for competition.
The Decree of the Drum - Ṣāmit says, "When the drum calls... Honour arrives before the warriors."
Interpretation
All tribes (teams) are expected to arrive before the scheduled start time. Battles should begin on time. If a fixture starts late due to the defending tribe, that tribe may receive a one-point penalty. If the delay is caused by the invading tribe, evidence should be provided before any penalty is applied. Otherwise, by default - the home team is penalized for any time-keeping related issues. If the fixture has not ended by 20:45PM, the remaining matches are awarded to the invading Tribe.
The Decree of Colours - Ṣāmit says, "A Tribe without its colours has already surrendered part of its Honour."
Interpretation
Club colours form part of the identity of every Tribe. The following dress code applies:
Defending Qā'id and their Muḥāribūn (Entire Home Team): Black T2 collared club branded shirts.
Invading Qā'id (Away Team Captain): Grey collared shirt.
All Invading Muḥāribūn: Black T2 collared club branded shirts.
Failure to wear the required shirt results in a one-point penalty for that tribe for each dishonour.
The Decree of the Qā'id - Ṣāmit says, "Every Qā'id is Muḥārib. Not every Muḥārib is Qā'id."
Interpretation
Every Tribe Leader is expected to participate as both a captain and a player. However, Tribe Leaders are appointed by Ṣāmit. A Muḥārib cannot simply declare themselves a Qā'id. Leadership must be earned.
The Decree of the Hunt - Ṣāmit says, "When Ṣāmit calls for the Hunt... every Tribe becomes one with the wilderness."
Interpretation
From time to time Ṣāmit may announce 'Hunts'. Hunts are special side challenges that exist outside of the league.
The information available is vague at this time, but we're lead to understand that examples include things like Battle Cries, Trick challenges, Skill contests, Activities, Polls and other challenges...
Unless otherwise stated, all participants compete as individuals. Existing tribal alliances do not apply to Hunts.
The Decree of the Council - Ṣāmit says, "The Council has no sunrise. The Council has no sunset. It gathers only while purpose remains."
Interpretation
The Tribal Council has no scheduled beginning or end. Ṣāmit alone determines: when Hunts begin; when Hunts conclude; when special decrees are issued; when additional trials are announced. The primary purpose of the WhatsApp group is for Tribe Leaders (Team Captains) to communicate, celebrate, and coordinate with each other, and to interpret Ṣāmit's words and fulfill his decrees.
The Decree of Hospitality - Ṣāmit says "The Tribe that claims the land must first prepare it."
Interpretation
The Defending tribe acts as host for every fixture. The host is responsible for:
- preparing the venue;
- supplying match balls;
- providing umpires;
- welcoming the invading tribe;
- ensuring the fixture runs smoothly/timeously.
The Decree of Evidence - Ṣāmit says, "A battle not remembered... was never truly fought."
Interpretation
Where penalties depend on circumstances (such as late arrival), evidence should be provided whenever reasonably possible.
Evidence may include: photographs; timestamps; WhatsApp message screenshots; other reasonable proof. Ṣāmit's judgement is final.
The Decree of Gifts - Ṣāmit says, "Honour fills the spirit. The stomach may seek its own reward."
Interpretation
There are no official prizes awarded for the Battle or Hunts. However, opposing tribes may mutually agree to play for a friendly prize such as refreshments or chocolates. Participation in such arrangements is entirely optional.
The Decree of Ascension - Ṣāmit says, "The greatest warrior must one day become a leader."
Interpretation
At the conclusion of the Battle, the Muḥārib of the highest-ranked tribe shall be elevated to the rank of Qā'id.
This means that the next time the drums sound (during the next Tribe Battles), they may form and lead a tribe of their own.
This Decree ensures that leadership continues to grow throughout the club and prevents any single tribe from remaining permanently dominant.
The Decree of Honour - Ṣāmit says, "No victory belongs to a Tribe forever. Only Honour endures."
Interpretation
The purpose of the T2 Tribes is not simply to determine the strongest tribe. Its purpose is to:
- encourage leadership;
- develop sportsmanship;
- strengthen friendships;
- create memorable experiences;
- build the T2 community.
Every battle contributes to the story. Every Hunt strengthens the tribes. Every participant helps shape the legend.
The Final Decree - Ṣāmit says, "Ṣāmit never explains - only the Herald does".
Interpretation
The duty of the Herald is to try to interpret Ṣāmit's wisdom, observations, rulings, reminders & warnings when the Tribes aren't able to come to agreement. Every Tribe Leader must express their interpretations during their discussions on the Tribal Council WhatsApp group.
